14 tourists missing in Peru




The Police official of Peru said that a helicopter with 14 foreign tourists on board has gone missing in southern Peru.


The helicopter left the Amazon region of Madre de Dios on Wednesday evening bound for Cusco but there are no records of it having landed.

According to some media reports, at least 14 tourists,including 12 South Koreans and two Austrians,may have been on board, and two Peruvian crew.

Mountain rescue services are searching for clues to the helicopter's fate.No progressive report has been found yet.
