Pop star Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announce their engagement

Hollywood actress Miley Cyrus and her Australian Hunger Games boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have announced their engagement on Twitter.

After dating for three years, 19 year-old Miley Cyrus and 22 year-old Liam Hemsworth have announced their engagement. The couple revealed to People Magazine that they got engaged on May 31st, after Hemsworth spent time with celebrity jeweler Neil Lane to design Cyrus’ one of kind, 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring.

On twitter Cyrus wrote that she looks forward to a life of happiness with Hemsworth.

The singer-and-actress - who split from Liam in 2010 before rekindling their relationship last year - knows he is the right man for her because he's always there to lend a sympathetic ear instead of telling her what to do.
